You may not have a hofner ct violin bass but chances are, if you have musically-inclined kids, you will get to own a guitar, a piano or a drum set in your house at one point or another. The key would be how to set them up in your house with disturbing the silence of the rest of the house!

I have a friend who put all his music equipment at the TV room cum family room – it works! I have a nephew who is part of a band and he needs a soundproof room when making some music.

I love these living rooms! It makes entertaining at home easier! Of course, entertaining at home doesn’t entirely depend on having beautiful homes or living spaces. You need to be a gracious hostess and a lively entertainer. Great food and entertainment also go hand in hand, maybe you can buy swisher sweets cigars for men who appreciate having a smoke after dinner, or a bottle of wine to compliment playing poker.

Either way, let these living rooms inspire you – all of them are in different style. Just pick one or mesh them together to be your inspiration for your living space!

I do believe the certain tastes (for food, for clothes) can be inherited. This way, my Dad doesn’t need to order a paternity test for me since we both love sweets (too much).

Unfortunately, that trait is as far as we can go with having things in common. My taste for house interiors are influenced greatly by my mother.

I love how this room can be separated with two distinct styles and yet look elegant and appealing.

Not something I would like to have in my own house, but the pieces and bold colors used are very interesting. Red + Purple!
